A patient came to our clinic with an unpleasant biting sensation on her tooth. After clinical examination and X-rays, it was found that there was quite extensive inflammation under the tooth. We started root canal treatment or endodontics and later a filling. Such teeth with extensive inflammation need to be monitored in the long term to observe how the inflammation heals. The patient will return to our clinic in 6 months for follow-up x-rays.
