Dental implants

Implantation and augmentation

A lost tooth becomes both an aesthetic problem and an increased stress on the adjacent teeth.The tooth row is then deformed (the teeth become crooked) and bite changes occur. Modern dentistry makes it possible to replace the missing tooth with a dental implant without affecting the adjacent teeth.

The implant is a titanium screw, the surface of which is designed to grow into the bone as quickly as possible and to last permanently. Implantation, or the insertion of screws into the jawbone, can be:

👉 Immediate (immediately after tooth extraction or gentle removal)

👉 Early (6 weeks after tooth extraction)

👉 Late ( need to augment bone or soft tissue, then have to wait 6 to 8 months after augmentation or in more complex cases)

Conditions for successful implantation:

Good health (diabetics and heart patients as well as smokers are at risk)
Sufficient bone volume and soft tissue
Implant designs and surface
Insertion position and procedure

We offer the following types of implants in our clinic:

🦷 Straumann implants (manufacturer Switzerland) – premium quality World Top implant (SLA and SLA active – active surface promotes faster integration of the implant into the bone and faster fixation of the crown on it) or BLX for immediate implantation (see more)

🦷 MegaGen Anyridge implants (manufacturer South Korea) – premium quality at an attractive price, used worldwide for its innovative design. Implant for immediate implantation (see more).

🦷 ROOT (manufacturer Switzerland) – in case of insufficient bone volume (narrow bone) provides excellent stability, no bone augmentation is required. (see more)

Different shapes and diameters allow implants to be placed even in the case of very large bone defects, but the number of implants must be increased, as they are slightly thinner than conventional implants and load-resistant with more implants connected to each other.

Any implant can be used:

to fix individual crowns or bridges (to replace one or more missing teeth)
fixation of removable plates (e.g. 2 implants in the incisor region of the mandible essentially fix the total plate)
fixed structure for edentulous jaws (minimum 4 implants in the mandible, 6 implants in the maxilla)

Leaflets about MegaGen implants

ROOTT implants

  1. Innovative design allows the placement of a dental implant in a relatively narrow jawbone, when bone augmentation is a short and lengthy process or undesirable;
  2. Made of premium titanium, which is biocompatible and durable;
  3. Different implant sizes and unique implant shapes offer solutions for a variety of clinical situations, from single tooth replacement to full arch reconstruction;
  4. Unique implant designed for immediate loading, thus reducing the duration of the implant placement;
  5. Cost-friendly;
  6. If more implants are needed for multiple missing teeth in narrow jawbones, bone augmentation can be avoided.
