First – it’s time for your annual check-up or dental hygiene. Ideally, this visit should be scheduled once a year or even once every six months. During the visit, the doctor will assess whether any treatment is needed, perform a hygiene check and take X-rays if necessary.

The second is, of course, complaints. Complaints about a tooth can be quite varied – it may become sensitive when eating sweets, it may start to react to temperature changes, it may start to hurt at night or it may hurt when biting. All of these symptoms may indicate that a tooth decay or nerve inflammation has started and needs to be repaired. 👩🏻‍⚕️

Third – if you have no complaints but you have a lot of fillings in your mouth that were put in a long time ago, you may have edge seepage or secondary decay. Or the existing fillings are flat and therefore the tooth is not functioning as it should. Each of these reasons is reason enough to replace the existing filling.🦷

If you take each of these points into consideration and go to the dentist when necessary, all small problems will be solved quickly!😊
